What to do in the first hour after a car accident
Stay safe, document everything, and call us. A calm checklist for a stressful hour.

Safety first
Move to a safe place if you can, turn on your hazard lights, and check whether anyone is hurt. Call emergency services if there is any injury or serious damage.
Document everything
Take photos of all vehicles, the road, any signs and visible damage. Note the time, location and weather. Exchange names, phone numbers and insurance details with the other driver, and note any witnesses.
Then call us
